Due to renovations taking place to the Jonathan Maynard building in 2018, the Danforth Art School will be temporarily housed at 23 Salem End Road House on the Framingham State University campus for Spring and Fall sessions.

Via Public Transportation

The Framingham Commuter Rail Station on the Worcester/Framingham Line is approximately two and a half miles from Danforth Art. This train departs from South Station. For schedules and fares, visit the MBTA website.

The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) stops at Framingham Center. Visit the MWRTA website or call 508-935-2222 for more information. Click for MWRTA routes and schedules.

From Boston and Points East

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) westbound to Exit 13 (MA-30 toward Framingham).  Bear right after the tolls to stay onto MA-30 toward Framingham.  After 3 lights, Route 30 merges with Route 9 westbound.  Continue through light by Whole Foods (on right). In ¼ mile, bear right onto ramp with signs for Framingham State University and Route 30.  At the light take a left onto Edgell Road. Turn right at the 1st cross street onto High Street and then bear left onto Salem End Road. 23 Salem End Road is located on the right.

From Worcester and Points West

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) eastbound to Exit 12 (Route 9 toward Framingham).  Bear right after the tolls to stay onto Route 9 East. Turn right onto Maynard Road and then a sharp left onto Salem End Road. 23 Salem End Road will be located on the left.

Parking and Accessibility

Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the White House at 23 Salem End Road. The main entrance is located at the front of the building facing the road.
